Luis Rubiales awards commemorative badges to the National Team players

Unai Simón, Ferran Torres, Borja Iglesias and Nico Williams received commemorative badges from the president of the RFEF during the lunch prior to the match against Portugal in Braga.

A few hours before the match for the qualification for the final four in the Nations League, four players of the national team received the badges that accredit their contribution to the team.

The president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, gave out the awards to the goalkeeper Unai Simón, who achieved 25 matches with the Spanish team on 12 June in Málaga and on Saturday in Zaragoza, less than two years after his debut.

Ferran Torres achieved 25 matches with the national team against Portugal at the beginning of the Nations League group stage.

The striker Ferran Torres has also received his badge for playing more than 25 matches with the national team, which he achieved on 2 June against Portugal in Seville during the opening match of the Nations League.

Borja Iglesias from Galicia and Nico Williams from Navarre also made their debuts with the Spanish national team on Tuesday. This is why Luis Rubiales congratulated and encouraged them on Saturday for the decisive Iberian derby during the ceremony to award the badges in Braga.
