Alejandro Balde is now part of the Spanish delegation in Qatar. The left-back landed at Doha's International Airport on a flight from Barcelona, where he flew from Seville when he was called to replace the injured José Luis Gayà.

It is the first time that Balde is part of the group of the national team and receives the call of Luis Enrique to defend the national team in a World Cup, the most important event that can exist in sport. Balde, who was in the U-21 stage, will start with the team trainings dynamics this Sunday.

The 19-year-old player from Barcelona was received by the coaching staff and the rest of the internationals. He is now under the management of Luis Enrique, who is preparing in detail the World Cup opener on Wednesday 23 against Costa Rica.
