David Villa and Capdevila, memories of the first star before the decisive match against Morocco

The Spanish National Team faces Morocco in the first of its finals at the World Cup in Qatar. An all-or-nothing battle that two of the players who won the World Cup with Spain in South Africa 2010 have already experienced on many occasions throughout their careers. They are David Villa and Joan Capdevila.

"It is a pleasure and we are very proud of having been part of historic moments with Spain. The World Cup is the best tournament for a footballer. It is fantastic to be there already, imagine winning it. Playing with the national team jersey is completely different to playing with any other", says Spain's all-time top scorer with a sparkle in his eyes. On the other side, Capdevila remembers the unforgettable 11 July 2010 as "the day I fell in love. A love that is still intact".

Both Spanish legends send a message of confidence and encouragement to the current national team. "They have to enjoy it, there is a great group. A great coach, talented players with a great personality. In difficult moments, they have always looked forward", they say totally convinced.
