Foster children- stars of the Spain match at Son Moix

Little ones took to the pitch hand in hand with the players to raise awareness of the importance of rehoming programs through foster families.

The RFEF organised an ‘Executive Box 0’ to raise awareness of the issues, which currently sees more than 52,000 children in the protection system move out and grow up in a new family.

The foster children took to the field yesterday at Son Moix with the Spanish national team players, with the aim of raising awareness among millions of fans about the role of foster families, whose work allows more than 52,000 children and adolescents who are in the protection system to be given a stable and structured homelife.

The RFEF wanted to give more visibility to this very important social cause, through football and with the support of the national team players, who add their professionalism to the unwavering support of these initiatives that change lives for the better.

For this reason, in addition to the children who are in the social protection system and who made their debuts as player escorts, the Federation, through the Department of Equality, Social Responsibility and Sustainability, organised an ‘Executive Box 0’ for Foster Families, where they were able to enjoy the match. These people represented the 2,500 Spanish families who have decided to offer a present and a future to children and adolescents who are in the social protection system.
