Once again, the RFEF regrets new information from the newspaper El Mundo where it manipulates and falsifies the information provided to authorities by the Federation about Salobreña.

El Mundo headlines "Rubiales reimburses the expenses of the Salobreña party that he denied" to try to confuse and present to the public facts that have nothing to do with the reality.

The RFEF has provided the authorities with all the supporting documents that show that the Federation did not pay any of the expenses that El Mundo has been reporting about the stay in Salobreña. These expenses, such as the rental of the house, were paid in advance by a federation director and the other attendees paid the part that corresponded to the executive who had advanced the amount of the rent from his private account. There has never been any reimbursement to the Federation.

From the RFEF we request rigor and seriousness in the information to the newspaper El Mundo as a foundation of respect for its readers, the institutions and the democratic role of the media.
