Following top performances all season in England, Leila Ouahabi has returned to the Spanish national team full of enthusiasm and her teammates have welcomed her with open arms: "I was really looking forward to sharing a dressing room with the squad, many of them are friends and I'm very happy to be here because I missed them a lot".

On the sporting side, she is clear about her objective during this training camp in which Spain could seal their qualification for the European Championships in the two upcoming matches against Denmark: "I'm going to give everything I have. Being here is a privilege and I'm going to take advantage of all the opportunities I have". And although she does not hide the fact that that she dreams of having a chance to play in the next Olympic Games, she points out that she is fully focused on the games in Vejle and Tenerife: "Who does not dream? I hope I can be there but , but right now I have to make the most of this training camp, enjoy myself and give my all".
