Markel Zubizarreta, new RFEF director women's football

Markel Zubizarreta will be, as of today, the new director of Women's Football at the RFEF, a decision that is part of a complete restructuring with the aim of strengthening the department.

Zubizarreta, who has an extensive career in the field, will head the department that has worked for the consolidation and development of women's football in Spain, achieving success and triumphs at all levels.

Ana Álvarez, who until now has been director of women's football, will become responsible for the development of this area.

Markel Zubizarreta has been at the helm of FC Barcelona women's football for six years, as well as being in charge of sports management for a further two years.
