Pedro Rocha will lead the transition process at the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF)

Relevant decisions are announced from the organization, and a reasonable amount of time is requested to stabilize first and progress thereafter

Pedro Rocha will lead the transition process at the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) until the upcoming elections, following the decisions made by the Presidents of Autonomous and Territorial Federation and the Board of Directors/Management Committee of the RFEF, held this Friday.

The RFEF aims to publicly demonstrate an absolute and genuine commitment to continue making necessary changes to restore the functioning of the organization. The institution is convinced that transformations are necessary and, therefore, they will be carried out as swiftly as possible, in a progressive manner.

The first step has been to have legitimate leadership to carry out this process, as confirmed today. "We must start from the beginning. It is essential to progressively undertake transformations to ensure the future of Spanish football and regain the dignity and credibility lost after the events of the World Cup," said Pedro Rocha.

"This institution is above individuals, and it is vital that it remains strong. We will work tirelessly towards this goal, stabilizing first to progress later," explains the President of the Management Committee.

A call for dialogue and cooperation has also been made in an especially atypical scenario like the one being experienced with the Spanish National Team. The Federation wants to reinforce its commitment to the world champions, for whom they feel immense pride.

"It is essential for the players, the media, and society to understand this and help us in this regard. A lot is at stake, and we must be aware," emphasized Rocha.
