Puente del Rey, the stage for the celebration with the champions

The esplanade in the Madrid Río area previously hosted the celebrations for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The welcome for the newly crowned world champions now has a designated location: the Puente del Rey Esplanade – also known as the "Spanish National Football Team Esplanade" – in the Madrid Río area, will be the public space where all the fans are invited, starting from 9:00 PM, to greet our international players upon their return from Australia.

This venue, just five minutes away from the Príncipe Pío intermodal station, has a capacity for over 20,000 people. It's an open-air location where different spaces will be set up for the planned musical entertainment, greeting of the champions, and more. This space was named the "Spanish National Football Team Esplanade" precisely after hosting the celebrations for the World Cup victory in South Africa in 2010.

The players are scheduled to land in the capital around 10:00 PM and will arrive at the site of the grand celebration in an open-top bus, allowing the audience gathered along the way to greet our new world stars.

The event organized by RFEF at Puente del Rey has the collaboration of the High Council of Sports, the Community of Madrid, and the Madrid City Council.
