The RFEF and the Spanish national team are pioneers in metaverse after the agreement with 3D Factory

3D Factory, a South Korean company, world leader in the development of ultra-realistic Metaverses, becomes the main sponsor of the RFEF. It will develop the metaverses of the men's and women's national teams.

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and 3D Factory, a South Korean company that is a world leader in virtual technology, have reached a Global Metaverse - NFT sponsorship agreement that will allow the RFEF to be the first international football federation with its own Metaverse.

This initiative will revolutionize the relationship with fans, and it will serve as a meeting point for fans from all over the world. Millions of fans, regardless their location, will be able to immerse themselves in an immersive space to interact, have fun and even put themselves in the shoes of the members of the national team. They can do it whenever they want through different devices as well as follow and encourage the national team in all its matches.

As a result of this agreement, Spanish football will be internationalised with the implementation of the Spanish national team's football schools in Asia, as well as the Spanish teams in Copa del Rey and Spanish Supercopa competitions.

The president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, has assessed the agreement with "great enthusiasm". "With this partnership 3D FACTORY until 2027, we hope to grow together in the exciting world of the metaverse," he said.

🗣️ Luis Rubiales, presidente de la RFEF: "Para nosotros es un día importante. En la RFEF siempre queremos estar a la última en innovación".

The agreement presented today will begin to be developed immediately, and it will allow the recreation of any facility that the RFEF has rights over in a virtual space. Within it, users will be given endless opportunities, both to customise their appearance and to carry out all kinds of virtual actions.

This is how the RFEF Metaverse will work

Each registered user will keep the identity of their avatar or avatars with a human quality. This avatar can be personalised with the identity of all the players of the Spanish national football team or with any of the players of the teams participating in Copa del Rey and Spanish Supercopa.

Once fans are immersed in the RFEF Metaverse, they will be able to communicate using voice and without language restrictions (it includes a unique translation system). They can compete in attractive games and even make transactions or purchases of real or non-consumable products (NFT) from the RFEF or the clubs participating in these competitions.

To access this RFEF Metaverse, all you need to do is download an App available in the Apple and Google stores and the Huawei AppGallery.
