The Swiss company will provide physio treatment equipment for the Spanish National Team using the leading technology in player recovery on the market.

The RFEF has signed a collaboration agreement with the Swiss company Storz Medical for the European Championships starting this Saturday in Germany, with the aim of having innovative technological equipment to aid our players’ post-match recovery process.

The agreement, which shows once again the RFEF’s  commitment to the health and well-being of our athletes, was presented by the head of the medical services at the RFEF, Claudio Vázquez, together with the manager of Storz Medical in Spain, Roberto Poppa.

The collaboration agreement will allow the Spanish National Team physios to make use of the leading technology on the market to carry out advanced recovery treatments during the biggest European football event.

Specifically, the National Team will now have innovative magnetotransduction equipment, (MAGNETOLITH® technology) which can treat musculoskeletal injuries through electromagnetic impulses. It is a comfortable, fast and effective therapy, as well as being non-invasive for patients. It allows one to achieve evident results from the first treatment session in ailments such as bruising, inflammation due to a heavy workload, sprains or tendon issues, among others.

Storz Medical, founded in Switzerland in 1987, has a long history as a manufacturer of medical technology and innovative shockwave treatments and magnetotransduction technology systems of the very highest precision.
