The RFEF welcomes FIFA's social campaigns during the World Cup.

The top football's organisation will promote an initiative with a slogan for each round of matches at the tournament.

Few hours before the World Cup starts, FIFA has announced that it will launch a series of campaigns during the World Cup in Qatar together with three United Nations agencies to deliver messages promoting health, unity and anti-discrimination to billions of viewers around the world through various channels. The top football's organisation has considered the input of its associations and they will promote a special campaign for each round of matches at the tournament.

FIFA's decision is in line with that of the Spanish Football Federation, which  joined the initiative of the United Nations' Football for the Goals on 15 November. President Luis Rubiales, accompanied by representatives of the UN and the Spanish Government, was in charge of presenting this agreement with which the Federation joined the platform offered to the world football community. The aim of this platform offered to the football community is to become them aware of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as to defend a human rights-based approach.

In these FIFA's campaigns, national teams participating in the World Cup will have the opportunity to convey the messages at the matches through the captain's armbands. In addition, content will be projected on the screens in the stadiums.

The campaigns will be as follows:

Group stage, round 1: #FootballUnitesTheWorld

Group stage, round 2: #SaveThePlanet

Group stage, round 3: #ProtectChildren #ShareTheMeal

Round of 16: #EducationForAll #FootballForSchools

Quarterfinals: #NoDiscrimination

Semi-final: #BeActive #BringTheMoves

Third and fourth place and final: Football Is Joy, Passion, Hope, Love and Peace - #FootballUnitesTheWorld

The Spanish Football Federation welcomes FIFA's decision and supports any measure that helps to transmit positive messages of respect to everyone.
