SEAT, official sponsor of the Copa del Rey and the Copa de la Reina

The carmaker once again joins forces with the RFEF and will sponsor the women's tournament for the fourth time and the men's for the fourteenth time

 

The SEAT automobile brand has once again joined forces with the RFEF to become an official sponsor of two of the most important Cup tournaments in Spanish football: the Copa del Rey and the Copa de la Reina. The news was jointly announced by both parties, who have signed an agreement whereby the brand will reach out to all football fans in our country and those who follow both competitions around the world.

SEAT once again provides its backing to two cup competitions that have become familiar with the carmaker’s support. It is now the fourteenth edition of the Copa del Rey that will have them as a sponsor. The tournament goes into the Round of Last 16 starting tomorrow, Tuesday 16th, and all the teams will be hoping to reach the final at La Cartuja (Seville) on 6th April. In the case of the Copa de la Reina, this is the fourth time SEAT has been an official sponsor, with a presence in 2024 that includes the semi-finals and the final on 18 May.

The automotive brand includes this move as part of their #SEATsomosFútbol (Seat is Football) strategy, which has helped it consolidate an extremely positive partnership with the RFEF. This is something that the federation's Marketing Director, Rubén Rivera, wanted to highlight. "The RFEF and SEAT are indeed football, and for yet another year we are very proud to have this brand working with us. They have been a historic travelling companion for the Copa del Rey and the Copa de la Reina".

For his part, Cristian Calvo, Marketing Director of SEAT Spain, emphasised his satisfaction at the renewal of its commitment to the RFEF and "to two such emblematic tournaments". SEAT will continue to benefit from the visibility it is looking for through the media presence, through physical advertising in the stadiums and, above all, by getting involved with the fans at trophy exhibitions. "With the presence of our brand in both competitions, fans will be able to enjoy this sport like never before thanks to a host of activities and unique experiences," said Cristian Calvo.
