Spain and the Women's World Cup, united in support of sustainability

The Spanish national team made a great start to the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, a tournament with which the RFEF shares its commitment to continuing improving in social and environmental sustainability

The first victory against Costa Rica came in red, but throughout the tournament we will have the opportunity to see Spain wearing its sustainable kit. The Spain squad launched the light blue kit in Ibiza, on the Mediterranean Sea, which represents the RFEF's commitment to caring for the seas, one of the Sustainable Development Goals set out in the United Nations' Agenda 2030.

Better social responsibility is a goal also shared by the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand as well as the Spanish squad. For example, they strive for the reduction of climate impact or in the fight for gender equality and equity, support previously seen from Spanish internationals and the national team on International Women's Day.

Inclusion and support for vulnerable groups is another of the ways in which Spain is involved, as was seen in the friendly match played in Ibiza, where children with autism had their own adapted box seats and and had the chance to jump onto the pitch with the national team players before the match.

The RFEF continues to strive to protect health and make its stadiums more accessible in line with the strategy set by both FIFA and UEFA
