Tenerife and Canary Islands institutions officially received in the Heliodoro box by the RFEF president

The traditional presentation of commemorative gifts was the prelude to a spectacular evening of football entertainment at its very best.

The Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium in Tenerife was this evening a place where football and high society came together in support of the Spanish national team. Shortly before the match between Spain and Denmark, the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Pedro Rocha, received the representatives of the institutions involved in the organisation of the match.

Among them, the vice-president of the Canary Islands Government, Manuel Domínguez; the president of the Island Council of Tenerife, Rosa Dávila; and the mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Juan Manuel Bermúdez. They were joined by the vice-president of the RFEF and president of the Tenerife Inter-island Football Federation, Alejandro Morales Mansito.

The Federation wished to acknowledge and thank all the guests present for their collaboration, as well as paying tribute to the host club, CD Tenerife, represented by its president, Paulino Rivero

As is traditional, acknowledgement was also given to Anna Bordiugova, who attended the event as Danish Football Association president, as well as the UEFA delegate for this encounter.

Along with all of them, other authorities and well-known personalities watched the Spain-Denmark match from the Heliodoro Rodríguez López box. Names such as the Canary Islands Government's Minister for Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity and Sport, Poli Suárez; the vice-presidents of the RFEF's Board of Directors, Rafael Louzán and Rafael del Amo (president of the RFEF's National Women's Football Committee); and the board of directors, Thais Henríquez.
