The champions will be wearing their new kit for the first time in Burgos.

The shirt designed by Adidas gives a twist to the traditional but maintains the essence and the colours that unite a whole country.

The Spanish national team, recent champions of the World Cup and the UEFA Women's Nations League, will test out their new home kit next Tuesday at the Estadio El Plantío in Burgos against the Czech Republic. The kit sponsor of the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the national team, Adidas, presents this new kit that aims to connect, as is clear, with a new generation of players and fans.

The new kits reinvent traditional elements, inspired by the cultural identity of each country, and incorporate Adidas technologies such as HEAT.RDY and AEROREADY that keep players comfortable in moments of maximum pressure. In terms of aesthetics, the brand has sought to inspire a sense of pride and belonging, combining traditional elements with modern styling to create something truly new, always paying respect and homage to the country's footballing heritage.

You can buy your shirt at the official RFEF shop and on the adidas website.

Spain's first kit could not be anything but red; but yellow trim has been introduced both in the lower part of the sides and in the rest of the elements such as the badge, adidas logo and the classic three stripes that identify this brand with its own strength and personality. It also incorporates a nod to the typical nature of our country and to the "national flower", with a carnation embroidered  on the back of the collar. This is a symbol that, according to Adidas, aims to unite fans and players through a symbol that encompasses distinction and love. The shapes of the carnation blend with those of the seas surrounding our peninsula, forming wavy motifs that dot the base of the shirt. The result is a classic-looking colour combination with modern themes.

Technologies integrated

Each shirt makes use of HEAT.RDY technology, optimised to keep players comfortable, AEROREADY technology, materials that absorb or disperse sweat and keep players dry. Lighter ridges and additional mesh panels have also been incorporated, which help improve airflow and comfort, so players can focus on the game.

Sam Handy, Vice President of Product and Design at Adidas, says, "The national shirt is the visual symbol that unites a nation as its team seeks to provide fans with moments they will remember for a lifetime. In this sense, the shirt represents much more than sport: it represents unity, it represents a passion that unites us and it represents an identity that is celebrated at its best during international tournaments". "We bring together this emotion and energy with a nod to the intrinsic DNA of each country, topped off with bold new looks that fans can proudly wear both in the stands and on the streets this summer," he added.

The adidas Euros kit collection is available at adidas.com, shop.rfef.es and selected retailers.
