The sharp shooting Joselu

Joselu surprises onlookers with his fine scoring wrist in an impromptu shooting hoops competition

The nickname popularised by the forgotten sports narrator Andrés Montes to refer to NBA players with great scoring efficiency from distance has gained a new member in this Euros in Germany.

In the marquee attached to the national team's training camp in Donaueschingen, the internationals organised a three-point shooting contest in which Joselu Mato won hands down.

The Spain forward, in the style of Drazen Petrovic, Predrag Stojakovic, Walter Szczerbiak or Steve Kerr, scored four consecutive shots from more than six metres with a special ball that he got to grips with quickly and became untouchable.

To the resignation of his teammates, Joselu Mato seems to have no rival when it comes to basketball, culminating with his victory in the three-point contest with a resounding dunk in honour of his surname. A real sharp shooting striker for the national team in Germany.
