Aleksander Čeferin and Pedro Rocha held an extensive meeting in Bangkok on the eve of the 74th FIFA Congress.

In a relaxed atmosphere of mutual cooperation, this Thursday the Thai capital played host to the meeting between representatives of the 55 federations that make up UEFA, who met in Bangkok during the day before the 74th FIFA Congress.

The head of world football’s governing body, Gianni Infantino, thanked the forum for participation of UEFA member federations, whose president, Aleksander Čeferin, led the meeting collecting comments and suggestions from the attendees.

Among them, leading the Spanish delegation was the president of the RFEF Pedro Rocha. The head of Spanish football greeted Mr. Čeferin at the end of the meeting and this was followed by a bilateral meeting with the UEFA president, who showed his full support for Spanish football in the face of the challenges it will face in the coming years, with the joint organization of the 2030 FIFA World Cup as one of its key objectives.

After their meeting, both leaders are scheduled to participate on Thursday afternoon in a commemorative ceremony on the lawn of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club and on Friday 17 May to attend the National Convention Center of the Thai capital, the venue for the 74th FIFA Congress.
