FIFPRO announced on Monday, 3 November, the Women’s World 11 for 2025, with three players from the Spanish national team featuring in the celebrated line-up.

Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmatí, and Ona Batlle have been recognised by their fellow professionals, who cast their votes through a digital platform distributed by FIFPRO and its affiliated players’ unions. The selection honours the eleven footballers who delivered the most outstanding performances between 11 August 2024 and 3 August 2025, with the only eligibility criterion being participation in at least 20 official matches during that period.

Each voter selected three standout players in each of the four positions: goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and forward. The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards receiving the highest number of votes were included in the final team, while the eleventh spot was awarded to the next outfield player with the highest overall ranking.

The three Spanish internationals — World Cup and UEFA Nations League champions — also earned the silver medal at the UEFA European Championship in Switzerland this past summer.
