The governing body has agreed on an extension for the Spain senior national team head coach. The meeting also approved the renewal of Spain futsal head coach Jesús Velasco, who will remain in charge of the national team until 2029.

The Andalusian city is hosting the free exhibition from this Sunday, showcasing the World Cup trophy alongside numerous exclusive mementoes from this summer’s tournament.

President Rafael Louzán signed agreements at an event held at the Turkish Football Federation headquarters with the institutions that will collaborate on the staging of the competition, which will feature FC Barcelona, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid.

The Kings of the World exhibition, offering visitors an immersive experience of the 2026 World Cup, will be open in the Andalusian city on 20 and 21 September at Málaga City Hall. The World Cup trophy will remain in Málaga for an additional day, with fans able to see it at Centre Pompidou Málaga on 22 September.

The RFEF president championed peace, stability and trust as guiding principles for governance at the helm of Spanish football, while announcing the imminent renewal of Luis de la Fuente as Spain head coach: “He is the best in our history.”

The semi-finals will be played on 2 and 3 February, with the final taking place on 6 February, across three stadiums in the Turkish city.

The event will take place this Thursday, 17 September, from 2:00pm (Spanish mainland time) at the headquarters of the Turkish Football Federation.
