Elegance in our blood

We take a look at some of the jerseys that Spain has worn at World Cups throughout history.

With 22 days left until the World Cup kicks off, we visit the Spanish National Team Museum at Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. There, we take a look at some of the jerseys that our internationals have worn at the most important event in football.

We start with the 1978 Argentina World Cup shirt and continue with the one that the Spanish national team wore as hosts in 1982, with the lapel collar so characteristic of that time. We paid special attention to Mexico 86, Italy 90, USA 94, France 98, Korea and Japan 2002, Germany 2006, or the one that brings us the best memories: South Africa 2010; It was there where we became champions, keeping memories that will always remain beyond our badge.

There is an evolution influenced by trends and always linked to elegance, using the red colour of Spain in all of them. For this occasion, at the World Cup in Qatar, Luis Enrique's team will wear a new jersey. An elastic shirt that will keep the distinctive colour of the national team with the national flag on the collar. For the first time, both men's and women's national team will wear the same shirt.

In addition, the second kit features a wavy graphic inspired by the 1982 World Cup logo. It is another proof that the essence always remains.

If you want to see the jerseys of the Spanish national team, do not hesitate to visit the Museum at the federation's headquarters.
