Spain reaches its highest ever position in the FIFA rankings

The internationals of the Spanish women's national team are now sixth in the rankings and only the USA, Sweden, Germany, England and France are ahead of them.

A 1-1 draw against Sweden and an unprecedented 2-0 win over the USA helped Spain move up to a historic sixth place in the FIFA world rankings.

The team coached by Jorge Vilda has been rewarded for their excellent results in October. They competed with the two best teams in the world.

The Spanish women's national football team, which has climbed two positions after the publication of the latest ranking. Only EEUU, Sweden, Germany, England and France are ahead of them, leaving behind national teams such as Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil and Korea, among others.
