The support of the fans energised our first training session of the autumn
Sunny in weather and blazing in fan support — that’s how the Spanish National Team welcomed the autumn season, training on the main pitch at the Ciudad del Fútbol.

The 25 players called up for the World Cup qualifying matches against Georgia in Elche and Bulgaria in Valladolid held their first evening training session, which, as has become customary, was fully open to the public who came to Las Rozas to watch.
Head coach Luis de la Fuente led the session, focused on preparing for the upcoming match at the Martínez Valero Stadium, where Spain has the opportunity to take a major step toward securing qualification for the next World Cup.
The support shown this Tuesday from the stands at the Ciudad del Fútbol — reciprocated by the players with autographs and photos with fans — serves as a prelude to the expected full house in Elche for Saturday’s game. It will mark Spain’s return to home soil nearly seven months after their penalty shootout victory against the Netherlands in Mestalla.
Following Tuesday’s training session, the national team will train again on Wednesday morning at the Ciudad del Fútbol before traveling on Friday afternoon to the city of Elche, where they will complete their final preparations ahead of the match against Georgia.
