With the victory over England, Spain have secured first place in the Group A3 table, granting them direct access to the final phase of the UEFA Women’s Nations League. They achieved this with 5 wins and only one defeat, which came at Wembley on matchday two.
Moreover, Montse Tomé’s side scored 21 goals in the six matches, making them the second-highest scorers in this group stage, behind Germany with 26. The other three teams that will compete in the final phase in October alongside Spain are Germany, France, and Sweden.
