Three points — the main objective.
Score as many goals as possible — the second objective.
The opponent: Ukraine Women's National Team.
The stage: today at 18:00 CET (20:00 local time in Turkey), at the Mardan Antalyaspor Stadium in Antalya.

Spain arrived in the Turkish coastal city with that clear mindset. After their dominant win on Tuesday — thanks to goals from Edna Imade and a brace from Claudia Pina — the next challenge is Ukraine. The match will be officiated by French referee Maïka Vanderstichel.

The two teams have met four times in their history, with the record perfectly balanced: two wins each. However, the most recent encounters have gone Spain’s way, with convincing victories of 5–0 and 6–0.

Ukraine arrive after suffering a 6–1 defeat to England Women's National Team in their opening Group A3 fixture, leaving them bottom of the table. Despite that result, Spain head coach Sonia Bermúdez stressed the importance of staying fully focused:

“They are a team you cannot underestimate. Against England it was 0–0 at half-time, so we must start the match very switched on and try to score as many goals as possible.”

Spain international Olga Carmona echoed that message:

“We have to go out at 100% to take the three points, which is exactly what we want to achieve.”

Spain currently sit level on points with England at the top of Group A3 and arrive fully prepared to face the side coached by Andrushchak, ranked 34th in the world.

Beyond the off-field circumstances and the broader context surrounding the fixture, Spain’s aim is clear: finish this international window with another victory and positive momentum as they continue their journey to defend the world title they won at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
