24 hours in the life of a footballer
The alarm clock rings in a London hotel and Nico Williams jumps out of bed with a spring in his step. In the day ahead , Spain are playing their first match of the year against Colombia and the player from Navarre feels a special energy.
He will first go to look for the youngsters Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsí because "I am their father and they have to respect me", he says with a laugh just before going down to breakfast with the rest of the Spanish team.
From there to meet the fans with Rodrigo Hernandez and Dani Olmo, technical talk, lunch, siesta, group video call with the gang of friends and off to the stadium.
A whole day with the Spanish international and Athletic Club star, who reveals the hard work players put in and and then details of their daily life behind everything that happens on the pitch: "I hope you like it", says Williams Jr.
