“Dream Without Limits”: World Champions Inspire Girls During Women’s Week
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) will carry out a series of initiatives highlighting equality and women’s rights in football.
This Sunday, 8 March, marks International Women’s Day, and to celebrate the occasion, the RFEF will showcase various actions throughout the week across Spanish football.
From today, the federation’s social media channels will turn purple — the symbolic colour of the day — and a commemorative banner has been installed on the façade of the federation’s headquarters at the Ciudad del Fútbol to officially launch the week. The image features the reigning world champions and UEFA Women’s Nations League holders.
Through the powerful slogan “Dream Without Limits,” they send an inspiring message aimed at encouraging the footballers of tomorrow.
The 2027 Women’s World Cup qualification matches will serve as the main stage for International Women’s Week. The campaign will be present at Spain v Iceland on 3 March (SkyFi Castalia Stadium, Castellón) and at Ukraine v Spain on 7 March (Mardan Antalyaspor Stadium, Turkey).
In particular, the initiatives will be most visible during the first match in Castellón — a city that previously hosted the successful “Equality in Sport and Society” Sports Conference. There, the players will wear shirts bearing the slogan “Dream Without Limits”; the message will appear on the stadium’s big screens, and the centre-circle banner will be carried by girls from local clubs, strengthening the connection between today’s role models and the next generation.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation remains firmly committed to promoting equality in this new era under the presidency of Rafael Louzán and will continue to develop projects, initiatives and actions aimed at achieving this key objective.
