España–Ucrania to Be Played in Córdoba

The reigning World Cup and Nations League champions will stop in Córdoba as they continue their journey toward Brazil 2027. The match, part of Group A3 in the qualification phase, will see Spain face Ukraine on April 18 at 16:00 (CET).

The return of the Women’s National Team to Córdoba has been made possible thanks to the collaboration between the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the Regional Government of Andalusia, Córdoba City Council, the Andalusian Football Federation and Córdoba CF.

The side coached by Sonia Bermúdez will once again step onto the pitch at El Nuevo Arcángel, one of Andalusia’s landmark stadiums, with a capacity of over 20,000 spectators.

The FIFA world No. 1 team will take on Ukraine at El Nuevo Arcángel on April 18 (16:00 CET).

The memory of their last visit to the Andalusian ground remains unforgettable. It was there that one of the early attendance records was set for the Spain–Switzerland match. On September 26, 2023, 14,194 fans filled the stadium to watch the newly crowned world champions in action. A title they are now aiming to defend — and for which they will look to secure three crucial points against Ukraine on the very same pitch.
