Ferran Torres released from Spain squad for match against Bulgaria

The FC Barcelona forward completed the game against Georgia in Elche but later reported muscle discomfort, which was evaluated by the RFEF medical staff. Following medical tests, he was diagnosed with muscle overload without any structural injury.
Given the short time before the next fixture and in line with the team’s policy of avoiding unnecessary risks and prioritising the player’s health, Ferran Torres has been released from the squad.
The FC Barcelona medical department has been fully informed of the situation.
