The national team trains with full focus on the second leg of the UEFA Women’s Nations League final
Sun, 30/11/2025 - 13:13

There are just two days to go—48 hours until Spain face Germany once again in the decisive second match of the new Nations League format. The reigning champions hope to defend the title and lift the trophy for the second consecutive year, following their victory against France at La Cartuja in February 2024.

To prepare, Sonia Bermúdez and her coaching staff have led an intense, lengthy, varied and comprehensive training session, working across multiple areas—tactical and technical, physical and mental—to face the German side.

The importance of the upcoming match could be felt in the tension, concentration and motivation shown by the players as they executed each exercise during this cold Sunday morning session in Las Rozas.

Tomorrow, the squad will hold their official training session at the stadium itself, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid, where on Tuesday at 18:30 the second leg of this Nations League final will be played—with everything still to be decided after the 0–0 draw in Kaiserslautern.
