First introduced in 2023 with Amberes, followed by El Primero in 2024 and Victoria in 2025, the federation continues its tradition of bespoke match balls in collaboration with Adidas.

The new ball will be used in the Copa del Rey final between Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad, set to take place at Estadio de La Cartuja on Saturday 18 April. It will also feature in the Copa de la Reina final at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.

Designed predominantly in white, Horizonte includes circular red, maroon and gold detailing. The ball also incorporates the names of all Spain’s autonomous communities, each accompanied by a distinctive symbol representing its identity.

From a technical standpoint, the ball features a seamless, thermally bonded construction and an embossed surface designed to enhance precision and control, meeting FIFA Quality Pro standards.

The design also pays tribute to the history of the competition. The year 1976—when the current Copa del Rey trophy was first introduced—appears twelve times across the ball, marking the 50th anniversary of the iconic silverware and one of the most historic competitions in Spanish football.

The RFEF became the first federation to introduce a personalised official match ball for its competitions four years ago, and Horizonte continues that tradition into the 2026 season.
