Luis de la Fuente to Announce Squad for Matches Against Georgia and Turkey on Friday, November 7

Luis de la Fuente will announce on Friday, November 7, the list of players called up for the final two fixtures of Spain’s 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.

The coach from La Rioja will address the media at 12:30 p.m. in the José Villalonga Hall at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. Before that, at 11:30 a.m., the squad list for this double international fixture will be revealed through the official channels of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

Spain’s first match will take place on Saturday, November 15, against Georgia in Tbilisi (kick-off at 18:00), followed by a second game on Tuesday, November 18, against Turkey in Seville (kick-off at 20:45). Spain enters this November window as Group E leaders with 12 points.

That same Friday, at 12:00 p.m., David Gordo will announce the Spain Under-21 squad, which will close out 2025 with two matches in November. On Friday, November 14, Spain will face San Marino in Lugo’s Anxo Carro Stadium(20:45), in the fourth round of qualifying for the 2027 European Championship. Then, on Tuesday, November 18, the team will meet Romania away in Sibiu (18:00), wrapping up the first half of the group stage. Spain currently tops the group after victories against Cyprus, Kosovo, and Finland. Gordo will address the media at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas following Luis de la Fuente’s press conference.

The senior national team will begin its training camp on Monday, November 10, at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. Players selected by Luis de la Fuente are expected to report by 20:00 that evening.
