Following their 4-0 victory over Bulgaria at the José Zorrilla Stadium in Valladolid — packed with fans cheering on the national team — Spain continues to advance confidently toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup, dominating Group Ewith authority: four wins in four matches, fifteen goals scored, and none conceded.

These impressive statistics place Luis de la Fuente’s team firmly at the top of the group with 12 points, three ahead of second-placed Turkey and nine ahead of Georgia, currently third in the standings. Bulgaria remains at the bottom with no points.

To date, only Spain, England, and Norway have won all of their matches in their respective qualifying groups.

Spain’s next match will take place on 15 November in Tbilisi, the penultimate round of this qualifying phase. Depending on the result of the Turkey–Bulgaria match, Spain could mathematically secure qualification for the intercontinental tournament. If not, the decisive fixture in Seville on 18 November against Turkey will determine the outcome.
