  • The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced its support for football professionals currently based in regions of the Middle East impacted by the armed conflict that began in recent hours.

  • A crisis committee convened yesterday afternoon to establish assistance measures for coaches, players, technical staff and other football professionals working and residing in the affected countries, as well as for their families.

A dedicated communication channel has been set up to receive and respond to any needs ([email protected]).

At the same time, the Federation has contacted Spanish Embassies in the countries concerned to offer all possible support to football professionals who may require consular assistance.

The RFEF is also maintaining ongoing communication with the football federations of the states located in the conflict zone.

The crisis committee was called by RFEF president Rafael Louzán and includes representatives from various departments linked to professionals working in these areas. The Federation will closely monitor developments and implement the necessary measures to assist those who have relocated to the region for professional reasons.

A number of Spanish football professionals are currently working in Iran and in countries across the Arabian Peninsula. The Federation is reaching out to them directly or indirectly to assess their situation and provide any assistance required.
