RFEF to Present the 2027 Spanish Super Cup in Istanbul
The event will take place this Thursday, 17 September, from 2:00pm (Spanish mainland time) at the headquarters of the Turkish Football Federation.
Rafael Louzán, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, will be in Istanbul tomorrow, Thursday 17 September, for the presentation and signing ceremony for the next edition of the Spanish Super Cup, which will be held in the Turkish city during the first week of February 2027.
The event will take place at the Hasan Doğan Facilities of the Turkish Football Federation at 2:00pm (Spanish mainland time), with the attendance of Osman Aşkın Bak and Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of Youth and Sports and Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, respectively.
The signing ceremony will also be attended by H. E. Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, President of the World Ethnosport Confederation. İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu, President of the Turkish Football Federation, will serve as host.
Istanbul was selected following an assessment process carried out in conjunction with SELA, which has worked with the RFEF on the development of the tournament since it began being held in Saudi Arabia.
The 2027 Spanish Super Cup will feature FC Barcelona, Real Madrid CF, Real Sociedad de Fútbol and Club Atlético de Madrid, competing for the first trophy of the season in Spanish football.
