The Spain Women’s National Team now knows its opponents on the road to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil. Sonia Bermúdez’s side will face England, Iceland, and Ukraine in pursuit of a direct berth to the tournament. The qualifying matches will be played on a home-and-away basis between March and June 2026.
The Madrid-born coach acknowledged that Spain “has been drawn into a difficult and competitive group,” but affirmed that the team “will fight to finish first.” She also expressed her excitement ahead of the upcoming Nations League final, noting that “Germany are a great opponent.”
