Spain will head to Palma de Mallorca as part of their qualification campaign for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The match will take place during the third FIFA international window in June, when Spain face England in one of the standout fixtures of the qualifying stage.

The Son Moix Stadium will stage a high-profile encounter between two of the leading teams in international women’s football.

The final points in Group A3 will first be contested in Mallorca, thanks to the collaboration between the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the Football Federation of the Balearic Islands (FFIB) — which celebrates its centenary this year — before the qualifying campaign concludes in Iceland.

Sonia Bermúdez’s side will be aiming to secure qualification to defend the World Cup title won in Australia and New Zealand in 2023.

The match — World champions vs European champions — corresponding to Matchday 5 of Group A3 qualifying, will be played on 5 June at the stadium where RCD Mallorca play their home matches.

Modern and sustainable, Son Moix has a capacity of 25,736 spectators and holds a UEFA four-star stadium rating
