Spain land in Konya in search of three points

After securing their first victory of the campaign against Bulgaria last night, the squad travelled this afternoon from Sofia to the Central Anatolia region, where they will contest their second match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying phase.

The team’s flight touched down at Konya Airport shortly after 20:00 local time, before heading directly to their base hotel.

On Saturday, the players will train on the pitch of the Konya Büyükşehir Belediye Stadium at 18:00 CET (19:00 local time). Prior to the session, head coach Luis de la Fuente and midfielder Rodrigo Hernández will address the media at a press conference scheduled for 17:15 CET.

On Sunday at 20:45 CET, Spain will seek to make it two wins from two and claim top spot in the group when they face a tough Turkish side.
