The Spain Women’s National Team, reigning world champions, will face England, Iceland, and Ukraine in the UEFA league phase leading up to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The qualification phase will take place over six matchdays between February and June 2026, with each national team playing one home match and one away match against every opponent. The winners of each League A group will secure direct qualification for the World Cup, while the remaining seven places, along with one play-off spot, will be decided in the final months of 2026.

Spain, drawn from Pot 1, attended the draw held in Nyon (Switzerland), represented by national coach Sonia Bermúdez.

A ticket to the tenth edition of the world’s premier competition is at stake — the tournament will be held from 24 June to 25 July 2027 across eight cities in Brazil.
