A FIFA delegation will be accompanied by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) during two weeks of work as they tour Spain with preparations for the 2030 FIFA World Cup in mind.

During their visit, the FIFA working group — together with the RFEF team — will hold meetings with representatives from the Spanish Government, football clubs and the cities bidding to host matches. Upon arriving in Madrid, the delegation will be welcomed by RFEF president Rafael Louzán, whose federation is working alongside FIFA on the organization of the tournament.

The 2030 World Cup will be hosted by Spain, Portugal and Morocco, with additional matches taking place in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, marking the centenary of the first World Cup in 1930. After their time in Spain, the FIFA delegation will continue their visit in Portugal and Morocco.
