The Spanish national team travelled this Saturday to Elche, the venue for their third World Cup qualifier. The team, led by head coach Luis de la Fuente, landed shortly after 1:30 p.m. at Alicante–Elche Miguel Hernández Airport, where hundreds of enthusiastic fans were already waiting to greet them. From there, the squad continued by road to their team hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel, the players once again felt the warmth and support of the Spanish supporters, who gathered to cheer them on ahead of tonight’s match against Georgia, kicking off at 20:45 (CET) at the Martínez Valero Stadium. Spain will be looking to maintain its perfect record in the qualifying campaign and remain at the top of its group on the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Spanish delegation, led by RFEF President Rafael Louzán, will return to Madrid following the match.
