Trionda to Accompany Spain on the Road to the World Cup

Adidas has unveiled Trionda, the official match ball of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Mexico, Canada, and the United States.

Featuring the red of Canada, the blue of the United States, and the green of Mexico, three fine curved lines represent the colors of the host nations. These are complemented by golden details that highlight the coveted trophy, giving shape to Adidas’ latest creation: Trionda, the official ball of the 2026 World Cup.

Trionda will be present from Spain’s upcoming fixtures on October 11 and 14 against Georgia and Bulgaria, accompanying the national team on its journey toward the dream of adding a second star to the crest.

In addition to the host nations’ colors, the ball incorporates iconic national symbols: a star for the United States, a maple leaf for Canada, and an eagle for Mexico.

Trionda also becomes a pioneering match ball, debuting a new version of Adidas’ Connected Ball Technology. This innovation provides unprecedented insight into every aspect of the ball’s movement, transmitting precise data to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system in real time. Combined with player position data and artificial intelligence, this technology will help referees make faster and more accurate offside decisions.
