Two days to go until the World Cup final
Just two days remain until Spain face one of the biggest matches in their history: the 2026 FIFA World Cup final against Argentina.
With their sights set on adding a second star to the badge, Luis de la Fuente's side returned to the training pitch on 17 July at the New York Red Bulls' Melanie Lane Training Grounds in Whippany, New Jersey.
Following an extensive media day, the Spain boss oversaw a 75-minute session in sweltering conditions, with all 26 players available. Behind closed doors, the squad worked on tactical adjustments and put the finishing touches to their preparations for Sunday's decider, which kicks off at 9pm CEST.
With Friday's work complete and just one training session remaining before the final, head coach Luis de la Fuente and captain Rodrigo Hernández will face the media at the official pre-match press conference at the Javits Center in New York City.
💪🏼 Final preparations continue.
