Spain begin a new international window with two exciting and highly motivating clashes against the Lionesses and Ukraine. The players arrived this afternoon at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, where they will prepare for matchdays 3 and 4 of the qualification campaign for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.

Full of energy and excitement, smiles all around, the 25 players rolled their suitcases down the iconic ramp leading them back “home”, where they were welcomed by Sonia Bermúdez and her coaching staff. While every camp is special, this one is particularly memorable for Clara Pinedo, who receives her first call-up.

The squad list, revealed by India Martínez and inspired by the charm of Córdoba’s famous patios, confirmed the 25 players selected by Sonia Bermúdez.

Spain now face two key matches as they look to take control of Group A3, currently level on points with England, their next opponents (14 April, 20:00, Wembley). This second window of the year — and of the qualifying campaign — is crucial in their bid to defend the world title won in 2023 in Australia and New Zealand. After the trip to London, the team will head to Córdoba, where they will face Ukraine at the Nuevo Arcángel on Saturday, 18 April at 16:00.
