Upon arriving in Antalya, where Spain will face Ukraine tomorrow, Bermúdez reflected on the trip and highlighted the importance and key aspects of the upcoming game.

Travel and arrival in Antalya

“The trip went well, very smoothly. Our president led the delegation and the ambassador welcomed us with strong security measures. We felt well looked after and that’s what they conveyed to us. Now we’re at the hotel looking forward to tomorrow’s match.”

On Ukraine

“We analyse every opponent. Here the time difference is two hours, and adapting to it can be noticeable, especially at half-time. They’re a team you cannot underestimate. Against England it was 0–0 at the break, so we have to start the game very focused and aim to score as many goals as possible.”

On securing another three points

“It’s very important. We need another three points, and the goal difference is also something that matters a lot.”

“We can’t be complacent. We have to start the match fully focused to win the three points and score as many goals as possible.” — Sonia Bermúdez
