The flight from Madrid to the Catalan capital lasted just over an hour. Upon arrival, dozens of fans gathered around the team hotel to their idols. The players were warmly received by supporters, taking time to pose for photos and sign autographs.

This Tuesday, Spain will play their 20th match in the province of Barcelona, and their second at the RCDE Stadium. The last time the national team featured at Espanyol’s ground—on 26 March 2022—they secured a 2–1 victory over Albania, with goals from Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres.
