The end of the open-top bus ride left the players with an impressive sight at their feet: Explanada Puente del Rey, in Madrid Río, filled with fans of all ages. They had already enjoyed almost three hours of celebration with Vicco, Camela, Farga, Michenlo, and Juan Magán; but their voices were still strong enough to chant the names of our players.

One by one, they were called to the stage, accompanied by some of the songs that had served as their soundtrack during the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Tired from hours of travel, yet with their excitement undiminished, they all walked and greeted the audience.

Some speeches were emotional; others came with humor and surprises, like the moment when Misa Rodríguez showcased her ability to imitate a Formula 1 car engine. By the way, Misa turned out to be one of the great entertainers of the night.

Among those who spoke was the national coach, Jorge Vilda, who wanted to express gratitude for the team's support from all corners of Spain.

The team's captain, Ivana Andrés, also had words of recognition for the fans.

The most personal and emotional speech came from Olga Carmona, who couldn't help but look up at the sky, on a weekend so happy and bittersweet for her at the same time.

An incredible shower of confetti and the classic "We are the champions" by Queen closed - past one in the morning - an absolutely magical and unforgettable evening, befitting the new world champions.
