A family portrait to kick things off
A warm atmosphere and colourful packed out stands greeted the Spain squad this Monday in a sign of the ever-strong connection between Spanish footballers and their fans.
Everyone’s favourite team was once again there for its fans during the first training session at the Ciudad del Fútbol, where Spain are preparing to start the defence of their UEFA Nations League title this week when they visit Serbia and Switzerland in the opening two matches of the latest edition of the competition.
Prior to that, Luis de la Fuente and his men held a training session to give the 25 players called up by the coach a feel of the ball out on the pitch.

Rondos, physical tests, running with changes of pace and drills with the ball took up a large part of the session before giving way to autographs, photographs and close contact with the fans, most of them youngsters, who enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon with their idols just a few days before they go back to school.
All of this, just fifty days after the historic Berlin Olympic Stadium final against England and with new challenges are already emerging on the horizon for a national team that, with the encouragement of the fans, wants to continue to be the pride of all its fans.
