With a respectful minute's silence in memory of the victims of the destructive storms which struck the peninsula a couple of weeks ago, Luis de la Fuente's players began their first training session of the last international training camp of the year. A commemorative banner on Pitch A of the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas reminded us that, once again, football is turning its attention to those in need. ‘We play for you’ is the slogan of the campaign that the RFEF Crisis Committee has chosen to continue supporting the families, people and institutions that are struggling in the aftermath of the tragedy.

The internationals hit the pitch and started with a large rondo and continued working in two groups: goalkeepers and outfield players. After these drills, they finished with a small-sided game. The session was broadcast live on the national team's official channels and you can watch it again here.

At the end of the training session, they signed shirts, postcards and flags for all the fans present at the charitable training session in Las Rozas. There was also no shortage of requests to the players for photographs and selfies from the adoring fans.
