Having passed the first World Cup test for the Spanish national team, we now know the name of the best player of the opener against Costa Rica. Aitana Bonmatí has been awarded the (POTM) player of the match award.
The Catalan player was dominant in the middle of the park from kick off until the final whistle, showing signs of great technical quality and, of course, scoring us a wonderful goal. The Barça player controlled the ball near the penalty spot and slotted the ball home into the side netting of the Costa Rican goal with a splendid left-footed shot.
